Colt Model 1848 Baby Dragoon Revolver in standard 31 caliber. Overall in VG+ condition. Action works great and cylinder locks up in line.
Good bore with strong rifling. All matching numbers including the wedge.Some strong darkened blue on the barrel with sharp Colt barrel address.
Cylinder engraving is sharp with cylinder matching number. Antique age darkened Ivory grips that fit perfectly with great grain structures. Good strong Silver on the TG & Back Strap.
Early serial number 3797 with a o and a T inspector cartouches.
Some surface corrision on the right side where it had laid for years, see pictures.
Purchased 30 yrs ago from the family.
