"Serial number 20892. Made in 1892. 38 Colt caliber with 6" barrel. This gun is in excellent condition as refinished. This gun comes with a factory letter confirming all features. Interestingly this gun was shipped to the Texas Naval Militia in a shipment of 35 guns. We have never heard of this shipment and were not able to find any other previous guns selling that were shipped to the Texas Naval Militia.. According to the book A Study Of Colt’s New Army and Navy Pattern Double Action Revolvers 1889-1908 by Robert Best, These 35 guns were the only shipment. Very rare gun that obviously very few made it into private hands
