Glock 17 Gen 2 pistol made for Belgian Police of Leuven with special slide markings "POLITIE/crest/LEUVEN", featuring night sights and early Tupperware style Glock case.

Description:

Standard configuration Glock 17 Gen 2 pistol, chambered in 9mmP, made for the Belgian Police of Leuven, featuring the classic Glock polymer frame construction with a 4.5" barrel and night sights. This second generation model represents Glock's refined design with improved texturing and checkering patterns introduced in the late 1980s. The right side of the slide is marked POLITIE/crest/LEUVEN, reflecting a special order before the slide was finished. Matching serial number on the barrel, slide and frame, whereby the frame serial number CFB132 indicates Austrian manufacture for law enforcement. Standard 17 round magazine with a Glock marked detachable floorplate. Includes original Glock Tupperware type case with black plastic cleaning rod and white bristle brush.

Condition:

Excellent original finish showing only very light sharp edge wear, the left side of the slide having a small holster scuff as carefully photographed. Comparable condition slide release and frame, the latter with a few handling marks largely at the bottom of the right side and rear. Magazine is excellent. Box with expected scuffing. An early and very unusual Glock Gen 2 pistol, one of very few that were special ordered with police markings as underscored by their application before the slide was finished.
