Two factory letters accompany this incredible sequential pair of special ordered first year Model 57 confirming the configuration and detailing their unique nature. These were hand carried through the factory as a pair to keep them together, clearly they also had extra love in the polishing department as well as the stocking department given the matching pair of smooth rosewood target stocks. Both guns are AS-NEW and come in the original prototype wood grain display cases. One is equipped with a 4” barrel, the other a 6”, S253644 and S253645. Note the extra service charge to keep the serial numbers together. The finest and coolest pair of early S prefix Model 57’s in existence; a must own!
