A 1984 dated factory letter accompanies this fabulous .357 Registered Magnum, Reg. No. 4843, confirming the configuration and detailing its original shipment on July 6, 1939. The gun is equipped with a 6” barrel, original bright blue finish, Humpback hammer, matching numbered checkered large medallion Circassian walnut Magna grips, King Red post front sight on a King reflector base and a white outline King #112 rear sight blade. This is an exceptionally well preserved Registered Magnum in a super desirable configuration. The gun is all original and numbers matching, including the barrel, frame, cylinder, ejector star, rear sight assembly and grips. Overall the original bright blue finish rates nearly 99% with just a little bit of faint handling wear at the sharp edges of the muzzle along with a few scant handling marks. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order is flawless. Overall a top shelf special ordered example that will delight and enhance any serious collection.
