Springfield M1A Semi-Automatic Rifle in 7.62x51mm NATO
This is a Springfield M1A Semi-Auto in 7.62x51mm NATO. It features a parkerized finish and walnut stock, 22" round barrel with Flash hider. With 20 Round magazine. This Springfield M1A was manufactured in 1997
Condition:
The overall condition of this Springfield M1A rifle is fine. Bore of the barrel is bright and fine with some staining scattered oxidized staining, the rifling is strong and sharp. The bore could benefit from a good cleaning. The metal surfaces retain 98% gray Parkerized finishes showing light handling marks and freckles of oxidation throughout. There is more moderate loss in the muzzle device. The walnut stock rates near excellent showing scattered light dings and handling marks from use. The handguard is synthetic and is ventilated. It is in excellent condition showing very mild discoloration. The rifle retains the standard minute adjustable peep sight and blade front sight which function well. One 20-round magazine is included which shows scattered scratches and oxidation from use. Nice rifle at a good price.
