Iver Johnson top break 3rd model .32 S&W C&R OK. Like new condition Holster is included . on
Iver johnson Third Model , 1st variation small frame Safety Hammerless Revolver. Top Break , auto ejecting, double top post barrel latch, coil spring, custom finish, 5 shot , 3" barrel in .32 S&W . made in 1911. 3rd year of production , 17,700 produced that year. Serial # B41971

Condition: 3” raised ribbed round barrel with a good shiny bore with solid rifling. . The metal surfaces have been custom coated with a beautiful plum finish on the frame and blued barrel and trigger gaurd. All markings are clear and legible. Very good looking original black checkered hard rubber grips with the owl logo. a tiny chip repair down to the bottom. Mechanically works excellent in single and double action with very good timing and lock-up. A very good example of a nice vintage Iver Johnson .32 S&W Third model.
The 1st and 2nd models were made for black powder or lower pressure loads . The 3rd models changed over to a coil hammer spring which allowed stronger pressure smokeless loads to be used. This model uses a .32 S&W
This revolver is a complete , nice example of a Iver Johnson Third Model large frame .32 and would make a nice addition to any top break collection
