1948 produced Marlin 39a 22lr. Three digit serial number. Lyman peep sight. Very accurate rifle that functions flawlessly. Some finish wear. Used but not abused rifle. Strong rifling clean bore. This early model had Ballard style rifling pre micro-groove. The targets in photos were shot at 40 yards using bulk pack Federal, CCI and Aguila. Its definitely a shooter. Sold as is. No returns.
