The High Standard Model D-100 is a classic, ultra-compact over/under derringer pistol produced between 1962 and 1967. Breaking away from traditional single-action designs that required manually cocking a hammer, High Standard engineered the D-100 as a hammerless, double-action-only pocket pistol. This design choice eliminated catching on clothing, making it a highly advanced backup weapon for its era. The Top-Break Action utilizes a robust top stirrup latch that pivots upward, allowing the dual barrels to tip down for effortless loading and unloading. Built completely enclosed without an external hammer spur, allowing for a smooth draw from deep concealment or pockets. .22
