An Early Civil War Period "FRITH PATENT" Large Hunting Dog Motif Powder Flask In Fine Untouched Condition. All original and complete. The flask has an excellent body and seams throughout with only a couple of tiny dings in it. It is maker marked on the top of the spout area. There is a scene of a hunting dog with a hunter wearing a top hat in the background. The flask retains all of its original brown lacquer on it. The flask operates nicely when used.
