This Winchester was produced in 1896. The carbine's serial number is 133362. This Saddle Ring Carbine is chambered to shoot the 44 W.C.F. [44-40] cartridge. This carbine has the standard 20 inch barrel with a very good bore! The action works just fine with no issues. This carbine is in patina condition. The screws are in very fine condition with no damage to the screws. The sights are original to this carbine. the rear sight is the correct carbine sight. There is no repairs or other alterations done to this gun. The stock and forend have no cracks or other damage to this wood. The wood is sound and fully serviceable. This carbine is certainly in shooting condition. This carbine has seen much use and wear but was cared for and kept in fine working order. This Winchester has all of the appearance of a ranch used carbine!
