This Winchester was produced in 1952. The rifle's serial number is 220882. This Winchester is a Super Grade In the 270 Winchester. There were 122,323 of these popular 270 Winchesters produced in the pre 64 Era. This Winchester has been lightly used. The action works smoothly as expected. This rifle has the standard 24 inch barrel with a very fine bright bore. The scope is a Weaver K4-1 with Redfield bases with swivel rings. This scope is in fine clear condition. This rifle has the original front sight with the sight hood. The rear sight base has a blank plate installed. The bolt does match the receiver serial number. The original bluing would rate a 99% condition. The trigger guard and floor plate's bluing is also in 99% condition. The stock is in near new condition. The butt plate has all of the bluing intact. The leather sling is a high quality sling. This Winchester is certainly a collector grade firearm! This Super Grade is ready to grace any fine Winchester collection!
