This is the Winchester Legendary Frontiersmen commemorative rifle released in 1979 featuring engraved Western scenes with Frontiersmen interaction with Native Americans and the natural world with beavers, snakes, bears, and eagles and has the commemorative medallion in the stock with a silver highlighted "Legendary Frontiersmen" script on the barrel. In excellent condition the barrel, mag tube, lever, hammer and butt plate retain virtually all, 98-99% plus original bright blue with the silver receiver and end cap having a very pleasing aged patina to the silver finish. The checkered fancy walnut stock and forearm both rate as excellent. It comes in the original styrofoam box end labeled to the gun in the commemorative protective sleeve (showing some edge and side wear) with the original hang tag, manual and paperwork. An excellent example of these desirable, limited production rifles. FFL or C&R Price: $1,395.00 Curio/Relic: Yes |
