The Remington Model 870 chambered in 12 Gauge with a 25.5-inch barrel is a highly unique, specialized variant of the most successful pump-action shotgun in history. While standard Remington 870 field barrels are typically 26 or 28 inches long, the 25.5-inch configuration is almost exclusively found on vintage 870 Wingmaster "Special Field" models manufactured primarily in the 1980s and 1990s, or on specialized upland bird variants.
