The Interarms Virginian Dragoon (frequently referred to as the "Virginia") is a discontinued, heavy-framed single-action revolver produced between 1973 and 1984. Originally designed to compete with the Ruger Blackhawk, the 7.5-inch barrel variant chambered in .357 Magnum is highly prized for its exceptional accuracy, massive steel construction, and smooth traditional aesthetics. It is built on a larger .44-caliber frame profile, making it practically indestructible when firing full-power magnum loads. Patented "Swiss Safety" System: Rather than using a modern transfer bar, it utilizes a specialized cylinder base pin with two separate latch positions.
