Marlin, Mdl 1895 GS, Caliber 45/70 Govt, semi relief engraving by Joel Ilch, American bison buffalo and scroll on left side of receiver, two bison skulls and scroll on right side of receiver, bison skulls and scroll on trigger guard, scroll on top of receiver, 18" length of round barrel, 13 3/8" length of pull, straight butt grip, checkering on walnut forearm and buttstock with 3/4" butt pad, overall length is 36", peep sight, folding rear sight with hooded ramped front sight, drilled and tapped for scope or reflex sight, leather and nylon strap with rubber backing, through receiver safety plus hammer safety and hammer has nurled extension for scope, stainless sling swivels, does not appear to have been shot, no box, Serial number is 93229780.
