This Winchester Model 12 Y-Trap Model is a purpose-built clay target shotgun from the final production era of the legendary Model 12 line. Featuring a 30-inch high vent rib barrel and trap configuration stock, this shotgun was designed specifically for trap shooting where consistent sight alignment and smooth target tracking are critical.
The 30-inch barrel delivers a smooth, deliberate swing ideal for rising trap targets. The elevated vent rib and mid-bead sighting system provide a clear sighting plane, while the Monte Carlo-style stock with raised cheek piece helps maintain a consistent head position and sight picture shot after shot.
Winchester’s Model 12 earned its reputation as “The Perfect Repeater,” and for good reason. Its forged steel receiver, exceptionally smooth pump action, and robust internal design made it one of the most respected pump-action shotguns ever built. The takedown design allows the shotgun to separate into two sections for easy transport and storage.
