The Smith & Wesson 4013TSW 40 Tactical represents the final evolution of Smith & Wesson’s legendary Third Generation pistol line. Built during the Tactical Smith & Wesson era, this compact fighting pistol combines proven all-metal construction with modern tactical features including an integral accessory rail and Novak combat sights. These pistols were developed for professional users who wanted duty-grade reliability in a more compact package.
Performance is exactly what made the Third Generation Smith & Wesson pistols famous. The alloy frame keeps weight manageable while the stainless steel slide provides durability and excellent balance. Chambered in .40 S&W, the pistol delivers authoritative defensive performance while maintaining the smooth cycling and reliability that earned these guns a loyal law-enforcement following.
Ergonomics are classic Smith & Wesson. The wraparound grip fills the hand naturally, while the ambidextrous safety/decocker and traditional double-action system provide familiar controls for serious shooters.
