This Winchester Super Grade Model 70 was made by Browning Viana S.A. in Portugal. The reason Browning picked this location to make the Model 70 Super Grade is that factory uses modern manufacturing techniques while still maintaining a focus on hand-fitting and fitting. This is especially true of the Super Grade models with their exquisite walnut stocks. This rifle proves their move was well-thought-out. Receiver was tapped for a scope by the original owner which is the only mark on the bluing. .308 Winchester
