The Pioneer Arms PPS-43C in 7.62x25mm Tokarev is a semi-automatic, closed-bolt reproduction of the iconic Soviet submachine gun used during World War II. Manufactured in Radom, Poland, these firearms are built utilizing a mixture of historical military surplus parts and new-production components. Because they feature a 10-inch shrouded barrel and a folding stock permanently welded into the closed position to legally comply with ATF regulations, they are classified and sold in the United States as pistols.
