A U.S. Military Issued Civil War Ames Model 1840 Non Commisioned Officers Sword Dated 1863 In Excellent Condition. All original and complete. The sword has an excellent blade, markings, and grip on it. The blade still has polish left on it. It is marked on top of one side of the blade, "Made By Ames. M.F.G. Co., Chicopee Mass." & "U.S./AHC/1863 on the other. The brass grip is marked "A.D.K." This Is An Excellent Example Of A U.S. Military Issued Civil War Ames Model 1840 Non Commisioned Officers Sword Dated 1863!
