U.S. Krag Gallery Practice Rifle .22rf
U.S. Springfield Armory manufactured circa 1905/1906

This rifle has been restored. It is in excellent condition with all original Springfield Armory parts.
I purchased this rifle at during 2007. It was restored in 2015.
It functions flawlessly. I fire .22 long rifle target ammo in it.
When I purchased it, the loading gate had been removed and it was placed in a Krag Carbine Stock. Wood was grafted into stock to cover the absence of the hinged. The loading gate was replaced and a stock from another period Krag was installed. Parts were blued.
The result is a "brand new" one hundred and twenty year old rifle, well almost.
