The TISAS 1911A1 Tank Commander is built around a Commander-length 4.25-inch barrel that reduces overall length and weight compared to a Government-size 1911 while retaining the full stopping power and proven terminal performance of the .45 ACP cartridge. Series 70 internals eliminate the firing pin block from the trigger linkage entirely, producing a lighter, crisper break and a shorter, more positive reset that experienced 1911 shooters will recognize immediately as the preferred configuration for both accuracy and fast follow-up shots.
