Description:
Offered for sale is a Ruger Old Model Blackhawk single-action revolver chambered in .41 Magnum. This desirable early “three-screw” Blackhawk has a 6½-inch barrel and serial number 40-21576.
The revolver features adjustable sights, a fluted six-shot cylinder, blued barrel and cylinder, and black replacement target-style grips. The original-style three-screw frame configuration is visible. The barrel and frame markings remain clear and well-defined.
The revolver is in very good overall condition. The blued finish remains strong and glossy, with light handling marks, minor edge wear and a faint cylinder turn line. The aluminum-colored grip frame shows light handling wear. The replacement grips fit well and show only minor wear.
Included are the Ruger factory box, instruction manual and original paperwork. The box is correctly marked for a Blackhawk .41 Magnum with a 6½-inch barrel, catalog number BKH42. The box shows scattered storage wear, edge wear and writing on the end label.
Also included is a Tasco ProPoint optic with a B-Square revolver mounting rail and rings. The optic and mount are shown separately and are not currently installed on the revolver. Their operation has not been verified.
This firearm has not been test-fired by us. The bore and mechanical condition have not been independently verified. Please review all photographs carefully for the firearm’s overall cosmetic condition.
