The FN Browning Hi-Power P35 Iraqi Contract is a Belgian-made 9mm semi-automatic pistol manufactured by Fabrique Nationale (FN) in Herstal, Belgium. This example features the Iraqi Eagle crest on the slide, original matte military finish, steel frame construction, fixed combat sights, ring hammer, and black checkered military grips.
Produced by FN for Iraqi military and government contracts, these pistols represent a unique and increasingly collectible variation of the legendary Browning Hi-Power design. The military-style matte painted finish and contract markings distinguish these pistols from commercial Hi-Power models..The pistol is chambered in 9mm Parabellum and utilizes the proven single-action Hi-Power operating system with a 4.7-inch barrel and 13+1 capacity. Serial number 245PY68267 is present on the pistol. Included are two original 13-round magazines and the original factory Styrofoam box.
Markings include "Fabrique Nationale Herstal Belgique" and Browning patent information on the slide, along with the Iraqi crest on the top of the slide. The pistol retains its original military configuration and finish, showing handling marks consistent with military storage and age.
