"Serial no. R021832. Manufactured in 1943 at Izhevsk Arsenal, chambered in 7.62x54R,29"" round barrel. The bore is bright with strong, well-defined rifling noted throughout. Serial numbers have been force matched with electric pencil during post-war Soviet arsenal refurbishment, a common practice on refurbished Mosin-Nagants. The stock remains in very good condition with a faint cartouche visible on the right side. The action is smooth, mechanically sound, and functions correctly.
