Description:
French pinfire revolver chambered in .30 caliber, configured as a six-shot double-action/single-action firearm. The revolver has a 3.25-inch barrel fitted with a front sight. The frame and cylinder display an engraved silver finish, and the grips are brown checkered wood. Typical of 19th-century European manufacture, the design incorporates a folding trigger and side-loading gate for pinfire cartridges. No discernible serial number is present on the frame or cylinder surfaces.
The revolver is used and retains functional mechanical operation, with both double-action and single-action modes working as intended. The bore shows darkening and fouling consistent with age and prior use. Metal surfaces exhibit the patina expected from an antique firearm, and engraving remains visible across the frame. The finish shows wear typical of long-term storage and handling. All major components appear complete and properly fitted, including the cylinder, hammer, and trigger assembly.
Brown checkered wood grips are intact and fitted securely to the frame. No additional accessories, tools, or case accompany the revolver. The firearm represents a period French pinfire design with a six-chamber cylinder and engraved detailing throughout.
