ASA Waters U.S. Model 1836 Single-Shot Flintlock Pistol manufactured by Asa Waters in 1837 still in its original flintlock configuration Normal handling wear, , mellow brown patina light pitting several hairline cracks in the wood And  Several Screws have been replaced (See Pictures) Mechanics are good
Lockplate Stamping: "A. WATERS / MILBURY. MS. / 1837" forward of the hammer No Eagle Head Visible
Wood Stock Cartouches: On the left side of the walnut stock (opposite the lockplate), Are very light I have included a picture
The Flash Pan: Original configuration a distinct brass detachable flash pan..
Breech Marks: The top rear of the 8.5-inch barrel  features the government inspection proofs   These are faint But look to be "U.S. / LF / P".
Ramrod: A signature swivel-mounted steel ramrod permanently attached under the barrel to prevent loss.
