This FN 545Tactical Semi-Auto Pistol is an excellent option right out of the box. The machined-steel slide features front and rear serrations, a loaded-chamber indicator, suppressor-height tritium sights, and a high-endurance cone-shaped striker. The slide is optics-ready to accommodate all popular sighting systems directly to the slide. The 4.71", cold hammer-forged barrel includes a .578"x 28 threaded muzzle, target crowning, and a polished feed ramp for reliable feeding. The frame includes ambidextrous controls, positive texturing to insure superior grip. This would be a great gun for hiking in bear country and great for the range. .45 ACP
