Offered here for sale and just acquired is this superb Harrington & Richardson Centennial Officer’s Model 1873 Trapdoor Reproduction – .45-70 Gov’t | 26” Barrel | Commemorative Rifle
It was acquired from a very prestigious collection which was the personal collection. of Steven Sanetti of Sturm Ruger.
Description:
This H&R Officer’s Model 1873 Trapdoor is a beautifully crafted reproduction of the iconic Springfield rifle, released as part of Harrington & Richardson’s Centennial celebration. Designed to honor a century of American firearms heritage, this limited-edition rifle captures the essence of the original U.S. military issue with refined detail and historical accuracy. The rifle features a 26-inch blued barrel paired with a case-colored receiver, hammer, and breechblock. The front sight is a tall beaded blade, while the grip sports a flip-up, elevation-adjustable peep aperture, ideal for precise shooting. The hardwood stock is finely checkered with a straight grip and adorned with a decorative metal nose cap, stacking swivel, barrel band, and a commemorative brass buttplate badge.
This specimen is UNFIRED and aside for one minor bruise left side of stock it would be in 100% NEW IN BOX condition.
