Description:
Offered for sale is a Remington Model 11-87 Premier semi-automatic shotgun chambered in 12 gauge and equipped with a fully rifled slug barrel.
This Premier-grade shotgun features a high-gloss walnut stock and forearm, cut checkering, a richly blued receiver with floral scroll engraving, gold-colored trigger and a ventilated recoil pad. The barrel is fitted with rifle-style sights for slug hunting.
The barrel is marked for 12-gauge, 2¾-inch or 3-inch shells and is also marked “FULLY RIFLED – FOR SLUGS.” The approximately 21-inch rifled barrel makes this shotgun well suited for deer and other big-game hunting where slug guns are permitted.
The shotgun is in very good overall cosmetic condition. The blued metal retains a strong finish with scattered light scratches, handling marks and minor finish wear. The receiver engraving remains clear and attractive. The walnut stock and forearm retain a glossy finish and show scattered handling marks, small scratches and minor impressions consistent with normal use. The checkering remains well defined.
