Winchester Model of 1917 bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield. This rifle features a 24-inch barrel and was manufactured in 1918. The action follows the robust design of the U.S. Model of 1917 military rifle, with a controlled-feed bolt system and internal magazine. The receiver has been drilled and tapped to accept scope mounts, allowing for optical installation if desired. Serial number 405420 is present on the receiver.
The bore condition is described as excellent, indicating strong rifling and clean interior surfaces. The rifle retains the solid mechanical configuration typical of the Winchester-produced 1917 variants. The stock is a Fajen Monte Carlo pattern with a capped pistol grip, smooth wood finish, and black grooved buttplate.
