Description:
Serial #227421F, .22 LR / .22 WMR, 4 ½ inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Colt Frontier Scout convertible revolver manufactured in 1968 with the "F" suffix. The metal surfaces retain about 90-95% of the original blue finish with some light use marks and scratches having a very light drag line on the 22 LR cylinder with the .22 Magnum cylinder showing no drag line and only a few freckles. The composite Colt grips rate about excellent. It comes in the original two piece box that is numbered to the gun showing corner wear and side seam separation repaired with tape. The action functions properly with a tight lock up.
