It features a 24" rifled barrel with the desirable Alexander Henry-style progressive-depth rifling (3 grooves, 1 in 48" twist), folding ladder rear sight graduated to 600 yards, fixed blade front sight, and bayonet lug. The straight-grip walnut stock carries the correct Parker-Hale cartouche on the right side and is fitted with traditional brass furniture and a steel ramrod. The action has a nicely case-colored hammer and lock. Condition is very good overall with strong metal finishes and typical handling marks/marring to the wood. According to the original vintage Parker Hale catalog, this model is described as an “1861 Enfield Musketoon / Artillery carbine, two band.
