Description: The Remington Pattern 1914 (P14) Enfield is a World War I bolt-action service rifle chambered in .303 British with a 26-inch barrel. Remington began production in the spring of 1916. The P14 has a Remington aperture rear sight (graduated from 200 to 1,600 yards) that is protected by heavy ears and a Remington front sight. The bolt and barrel are unmarked. The magazine holds 5 rounds. The serial number of rear sight matches the rifle's serial number. The bolt has an asterisk mark, but is non-matching. The rifle's Remington walnut stock is in really nice condition. While handling marks are present, there are no cracks found. A circle cartouche with "IR 1914" with an astrisk mark under it is found on the right side of the buttstock. This asterisk indicates a late production stamp and safe for general use. A volley sight base is found on the left side of stock. Other cartouches are also included in pictures. Bore is clean and free of corrosion and pitting. The rifle's bore passes the bullet test easily as seen in the picture. Rifle's receiver and trigger guard retains its original bluing and has not been parkerized or bead blasted. Import marks found on underside of barrel near the muzzle. Please see pictures for details. All used firearms should be inspected by a qualified gunsmith prior to firing. All items are sold as photographed unless other arrangements are made. We accept USPS Money Order, cashier’s check, or credit card for immediate shipping. Please note credit card sales are subject to an additional 4% fee. Shipping & Handling ($50):
