The Thompson/Center Encore chambered in .17 HMR is a single-shot, break-action rifle or pistol (depending on barrel and configuration) that uses the Encore‚s interchangeable barrel system. T/C introduced .17 HMR rimfire barrels for the Encore in 2007 using a dedicated monoblock barrel design, allowing the same Encore frame to be used without modification.
