Description:
The Marlin 336 CS is a lever-action rifle chambered in .32 Winchester Special. It features a 20-inch barrel marked with the JM stamp, indicating manufacture by Marlin prior to the Remington production era. The rifle uses a traditional lever mechanism and is fitted with adjustable sights. The receiver and barrel carry the standard Marlin configuration for this model, with a tubular magazine and side ejection typical of the 336 series.
This rifle is used. The bore is described as excellent, and the overall configuration includes a smooth wood pistol-grip stock and matching forearm. Factory checkering is present on the grip surfaces, and the Marlin “bullseye” inlay remains intact in the buttstock. The serial number, U1703, places production within the 1957–1963 range, qualifying it for Curio & Relic status. The finish and markings correspond to the period-correct appearance for the 336 CS chambered in .32 Winchester Special.
Included is the complete rifle as configured with its original wood furniture and adjustable sights. No additional accessories or packaging are specified.
