Description:
24 inch round barrel with jeweled bolt. Bright bore. Sights include a ramped front sight with hood, sporting rear sight and Lyman 57WJS receiver sight. Barrel and action have a good amount of blue remaining. 2 drilled and tapped holes forward of rear sight. Customized Winchester walnut stock with checkered steel butt plate, added ebony forearm tip, and checkered horn grip cap. Stock is in very good condition with just some light handling mars. There are added Super Grade swivels. An elegantly engraved trigger guard and magazine floor plate features gold line borders and a gold inlaid bear, buffalo, and leaping stag. This fine Winchester Model 70 was manufactured in 1935.
