This Savage Model 1899 Wad made in 1925. It retains an estimated 60% of the original bluing. Bluing on the belly of the gun and the lever are more faded from years of handling and use. Action Functions well. Bore is bright and shiny with some minor frosting. Rifling is strong and crisp throughout. Rifle has proper Savage marking and older 1899 markings. .303 Savage
