Description:
Serial #882873, .38 WCF (.38-40), 24 inch round barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the Winchester Model 92 rifle built in 1920. The barrel and mag tube show about 75-80% of the original blue with scattered use marks, scratches and freckling with the receiver and end cap a mottled gray-brown with traces of original blue. The stock and forearm are both solid with numerous old marks and contusions. It is sighted with the flat-top sporting rear and No. 21 front sights. The action functions properly with a smooth action and crisp trigger. A very nice 20's Winchester 92 in a great caliber. FFL or C&R
