The Mauser K98 is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 8mm Mauser (7.92x57mm). This example features a 24-inch barrel and standard military configuration dating to 1944, bearing German markings consistent with wartime production. The rifle uses a turn-bolt action with an internal magazine and retains its original military sighting system, including an elevation-adjustable rear sight. The stock is constructed of hardwood with a smooth pistol-grip profile and matching upper handguard, complemented by the original metal butt plate.
