A very fine custom bolt action rifle by R.G. Owen. Serial No. 11 making this piece one of his very earliest masterpieces. I expect this rifle to be just at 95 years old.
Maker's name engraved on front bridge with RG Owen on left side and Saquoit, NY on right side. Also stunningly engraved on floorplate. Engraving by Rudolf Kornbrath. A late Lyman scope with superb clarity. Very colorful treatment to floorplate, pistol grip cap and buttplate. Caliber is 30-06. A gunstock of the finest quality wood and finish.
