33297-ORNATE JAPANESE MATCHLOCK TANAGASHIMA SMOOTHBORE RIFLE CIRCA . 53” o/a with 42” octagon smoothbore sighted barrel with finely articulated “CANNON” muzzle. Profusely inlaid on the stock with engraved brass mounts and a nice “FOO DOG” inlay on right side of butt. All original and complete in excellent plus condition. Lock in working order and metal with the original patinated finish. Stock with the original finish as well. Extra nice ornate example. $1950.
