The rifle presents in desirable CMP Expert Grade style configuration, combining a genuine U.S. military receiver with modern upgrades that deliver exceptional shootability while preserving the unmistakable profile and handling characteristics that made the Garand legendary.
The rifle is fitted with a Criterion (CBI) barrel dated 08/24, one of the most respected commercial replacement barrels available in today’s Garand market. Armorer tags indicate a muzzle reading of 0+ and throat erosion of 0+, numbers consistent with an essentially new barrel. Combined with the long-stroke gas piston operating system and robust T105-style rear sight assembly, this rifle is configured for outstanding range performance and long-term service life.
The bolt is marked 6528287-SA, a Springfield Armory component associated with post-war production and rebuild programs.
