The High Standard Double Nine with a 5.5" barrel is a classic, vintage American rimfire revolver that uniquely blends historic Western styling with modern mechanical functionality. Introduced in the late 1950s and produced into the 1980s, it gained immense popularity by offering a "best of both worlds" design: it has the distinct profile of a traditional Colt Single Action Army, but functions as a double-action revolver with a modern swing-out cylinder. Built with a lightweight aluminum frame to keep the handgun nimble and easy to carry on the hip all day. .22
