Markings: The left side of the barrel shank is marked "RI4427" (serial number). The top of the barrel shank is marked "CAL. 6.5" for the caliber, with "1941 XIX" and "TERNI" with a crown mark indicating production at the Terni Arsenal. This Carcano M91/38 rifle, marked "TERNI" and "1941 XIX," originates from the Terni Arsenal during World War II. Chambered in 6.5x52mm Carcano, this rifle was designed to be lighter and more compact than earlier models, making it ideal for Italy's infantry during the war. 6.5X52
