LOCKS WORK VERY GOOD, CRISP & ROBUST. RIGHT HOLDS SOLID HALF COCK, LEFT SLIPS OFF WITH SLIGHT EFFORT. HAMMERS DO NOT MATCH AND 1 NIPPLE APPEARS TO BE A MORE RECENT REPLACEMENT. CHECKERED WALNUT STOCK RATES VERY GOOD, ORIGINAL SOFTENED CHECKERING, NO CRACKS WITH OLD FINISH AND PROPER HANDLING MARKS FROM USE. A SOLID OLD DOUBLE THAT SHOULD BE A SHOOTER or OVER THE MANTEL FOR WHEN THE INDIANS COME TO VISIT, AS PICTURED & FOUND IN A LOCAL COLLECTION. QUESTIONS JUST ASK.
