The Browning A5 Sweet Sixteen (16-Gauge, 26" Barrel) is a lightweight, fast-cycling semi-automatic shotgun engineered heavily for upland hunting and sporting clays. Often praised as the "Gentleman's Gauge," it balances the lightweight carry profile of a 20-gauge shotgun with a hard-hitting shot payload that rivals a 12-gauge. While it retains the classic aesthetic of the original auto-loader, this modern version features a completely redesigned, ultra-reliable inertia-driven operating system. Unlike gas-operated shotguns, this short-recoil system harnesses the kinetic energy of the shot to cycle the action. It runs incredibly clean because carbon and fouling gases are pushed out of the barrel rather than into the action, requiring significantly less cleaning. Features a timeless polished black receiver finish paired with a gloss-finished Grade I Turkish walnut stock and crisp 18 LPI checkering. 16 Gauge
