Description:
The rarely seen and rarely offered for public sale Remington 40-XR Kevlar Stock (KS) single shot rimfire. Also known as the Mountain Gun, this is one of the finest rimfire rifles to come from the 40-X lineup. The factory supplied Kevlar stock was made by McMillan and when combined with the fast tapered custom sporter contoured barrel with a finely blasted matte finished action and barrel, you have a lightweight durable squirrel hunting rifle. These guns were made in the Custom Shop from 94-99 and had the famous match action and they were special order only. They are fantastically accurate and feature a smooth hand tuned action.
