This is a handsome gun that retains 97-98% of the dark gray-green parkerized finish applied during the conversion to semi-automatic. Full KMP markings are present on the sideplate, which is also equipped with a pivoting bolt hold-open bar, and the gun is equipped with an integral crank-fire attachment on the underside that allows for rapid manipulation of the trigger if the user so desires, although the gun is fitted with a typical pistol grip and functional conventional trigger as well. The gun is mounted on an Argentine-made Model 1928 tripod with matching numbers on the brass ID plate and gun cradle. The tripod is in excellent shape, with the metal retaining 95-97% of an added parkerized finish throughout, with some minor scratches and blemishes present on the legs and some of the bearing surfaces. Also included with the gun are: a spare barrel chambered in 7.92 x 57mm Mauser; removable crank handle for the rapid-fire mechanism; linking tray with a nearly full box of .30 caliber metal links; wooden M1917 ammunition box; and a compartment tray of parts for converting the gun to 7.92mm. This is a splendid set that is in excellent little-used condition, and comes with an array of extras that makes it practically two guns-in-one. The gun has been tested with the crank and works great. It would make a fantastic addition to any collection. FFL; Price: $9,950.00 |
